Positions

We offer full-time, semi-full-time and registered instructor positions to provide courses to corporate and academic clients.

Full-time instructor position
ALC Education's full-time instructor position requires up to 30 teaching hours per week within the hours of 7:30am to 9pm. Scheduling is flexible within these hours.

Semi-full-time instructor position
Our semi-full-time position is up to 20 teaching hours per week. Schedule availability is set to allow the instructor the freedom to pursue other interests.

Registered instructor position
The registered instructor position provides instructors with the greatest flexibility. Courses are offered as they become available.

Requirements

Native Speaker of English
Must currently reside in Japan
Currently hold a valid visa or permission to work (visa sponsorship is available)
Hold a university degree
Experience in teaching business communication classes
Live in or around Tokyo
Preferable to have lived in Japan for 12 months or longer
Preferable prior business background/experience
TEFL/TESL/TESOL qualification a plus

Salary

All positions are paid hourly at competitive rates. Full-time and semi-full-time instructor positions also offer a guaranteed monthly salary.
